Paulina Ramírez-Niembro is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Chicana/o Studies with a doctoral emphasis in Feminist Studies at UCSB. Her research centers on immigration, affect, and belonging. Her work analyzes how undocumented migrants utilize affective strategies to navigate belonging in the United States.
