Roselia Mendez Murillo is a graduate student in the Department of Communication. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Shaped by her personal experience, she hopes to better understand the immigration processes that Latinx communities endure. Specifically, she is interested in the resilience and thriving that come from the separation and reunification of families.
